itchy feet

Its time to break free from my cats....

I'm sat down on a rear day off......after wishing and wishing for ages just to be able to chill.....I'm bored as hell....

Plonked Jack Osborne adrenaline junky on..... and that show mixed with Micheal Palins trips round the world.... I have been successfully diagnosed with the travel bug.

So in full travel planning mode i have come up with the next three travel challenges.

Thailand:

Thailand will be great fun as its with the gays (influx of new lady boys to Bangkok), we are planning to hit the party island of Ko Phangan, as well as see the sights of Phuket and Bangkok as well as hitting the north (chiang mai) - nothing set in stone yet mind as we haven't thoroughly planned!

India:

Now India is a different kettle of fish as i have yet to find anyone to go with. but ya never know i may be a grown up girl and go on me tod........or maybe not....

but here's the route i plan to take, for any of you who wish to join:

Fly to new Delhi:

Kandia

Mumbai

marmagao

bangalore

pondicherry

nagpur

kanpur

then back to new Delhi

I'm hopefully planning on doing this trip after university finishes should take me around a month so If i go I'll leave end of April and return end of may around dinner time.

North America and Mexico:

After a couple of months rest and celebrating mother's half century, i have decided to undertake the big one.....dramatic i know.

I want to travel around America, as well as hitting Mexico on my way around. In regards to this trip I will probably go it alone in order to be able to get exactly what i want from it, whilst also attempting to grow up a bit before i get a job. Here's the route I am planning to take:

fly to new york then:

washington

chicago

kansas

oklahoma

houston

over the border to mexico

Monterrey

Chihuahua

hermosillo

back over to America

san diego

los angeles

san francisco

fly home all grow up.

It all sounds great now mind, but i have to pretty much spend this year finding money to fund this, whilst also trying to succour that job in media.  But however the perks of these trips will be that I'll be able to add so much to my stills portfolio whilst seeing some of the most amazing sights in the world.

BRING IT OOOON.

Right off to feed the cats....

I gotta get a job.

Baby Steps

When my mum turned 49, I instructed her to create a "Bucket List"... because lets face it....its only a matter of time....

Whilst she was hard at work (putting the kettle on), I decided to create my own list:

1. Make it through university.
2. Get a significant other.
3. Capture the most compelling and beautiful photograph ever to be captured.
4. Create the most compelling and beautiful documentary ever to be created.
5. Eat as many quarter pounders with cheese as humanly possible in one sitting.
6. learn to drive.
7. Travel the world.
8. Be more adventurous.
9. learn to speak Italian fluently ( when in Rome....)
10. Become a war time Photographer.

OK not that amazing, but anyone who puts; " Smell the perfect smell", or "look into the eyes of someone who loves me", needs to be round up and shot, before i vomit a little in my mouth. Be realistic people!

If I'm honest half of my list will never be completed, as (in the case of numbers 3 and 4) one mans beauty is another mans vomit.... but we can dream.....

Life's all about baby steps....and as as John Lennon once said:

"Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans."

Lots of things to looks forward to mind; filming in Amsterdam ( weed and hookers), reading festival (weed and muddy hookers), photography for a music video ( weed and professional hookers), university ( weed and poor hookers) and finally Thailand in January ( do i really have to say?)

Mums back with her list, shes written one thing;

1. Take car to the garage.

brilliant.

I suppose I should state some form of a reason for starting a blog, but I have none. Absoulutley none. As a dislexic I cant spell, I've failed several important exams and quite proberbly should never be allowed near a computer..... ah well...

I can however tell you what I want to write about... (totally self involved) I want to write about my everyday happenings ( if there are something worth rembering), becuase even if no one reads this, i'll get a giggle in the long run.
